Characteristics of Parenting Stress of Couples Who Have Adopted Internationally

The purpose of this research study is to learn more about parenting stress. This study is being conducted by the International Adoption Center at Inova Fairfax Hospital. For this voluntary study both you and your spouse will be asked to access the anonymous on-line survey.

There are two questionnaires a 17 question demographic information sheet and a 120 question Parenting Stress Index. The survey should take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time.

I want to let you know that your participation in this study is voluntary and that you may stop answering the questions at anytime by closing your web browser. All of the information from this study will be strictly confidential and no information that specifically identifies you or your child will be recorded. If you decline enrollment or if you stop answering questions, it will in no way influence your child's current or future care at the International Adoption Center or at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
